My Virtual Yard Sale

I am running the Kelly St. Patrick's Day 5K in Baltimore in support of Back On My Feet. As you may know, I've tried to get involved with this organization, to the point of trying to get a group started in West Chester with Safe Harbor (with no success - yet). This opportunity to support them came up when our annual St. Patrick's Day 5K in Baltimore filled before I registered. I still had a way in - by fund raising for Back On My Feet, I could be entered into the race. I hate asking for money, but I thought - it is a cause I believe in, I haven't been able to support them as much as I want because of how far away I live, and it is Lent so I thought this could be a good thing to do for Lent.

So, I have a goal to raise a mere $250 by March 10th. I have a webpage to accept donations and I am also blogging about Back On My Feet as another way to support the cause.

I am having a Virtual Yard Sale. I am posting my items for sale and you can buy them by paying for them via my fundraising page and I will deliver them to you. All proceeds from this effort are going to Back On My Feet.

I am also offering an evening of babysitting, by me, for a $25 donation. The terms are - a mutually agreed upon evening and the offer expires one year from the date of the race (3/14/11).

The toys are generally priced at $3 each. You can have 2 for $5.
